RV History: Al Hesselbart looks at the first Winnebago motorhome

Sandy Burns of RVtravel.com interviews RV historian Al Hesselbart about the first Winnebago motorhome. The Winnebago F-19 debuted in 1967 with a price tag of less than $5,000, half that of other motorhomes at the time. The “F” was for “Ford chassis” and the “19” for its length of 19 feet.
