    I don’t agree with this method. All it may lubricate is the tip of the pins. Why not put the tip of the spray into the lock tumbler and give it a shot? May be messy but wouldn’t it hit more areas? If I’m wrong that’s ok. Do you have a better way short of disassembly?

    I do what you mention, Buzz. Shoot the goo (not the stuff Gary mentions) into the lock, take a few moments to wipe off the ‘drip’ that WILL come out, and we’re good to go.

    Hey Gary,

    Boeshield T-9 is a wonderful lubricant that is not oily and easily cleaned up with the wipe of a rag.

    Once a year, I stick the red nozzle of the Boeshield T-9 into each lock, give it a real quick shot…..The result is no sticky locks, and no cleanup.

    $19 for a can of mineral spirits and mineral oil, no thanks.
