One Thought to “Simplify setting up your TV satellite dish”

For over 15 years we used a tripod and a dish to set up our Dish TV. I just went out with my compass, looked to see if any trees or other obstructions were in the way, and VIOLA! Life was good. Not that there was never any issues, but most of the time it was fine. I remember beating a friend who had an automatic antenna setup.

But, finally I caved and got a Dish Playmaker (at the urging of my wife who was just getting tired of the hassle). Now I STILL check the compass to make sure nothing is in the way and place the ‘device’ accordingly. Muchhhh easier now. Sigh, I almost miss the old tripod thingie – almost.
